Does wind means war in Revelation?(lumpen) The angel theory of the INC is based on its erroneous claim that the four winds means war. Revelation 7:2-3 as interpreted by the INC is mind-boggling if not ridiculous. Where did the INC get the meaning of the four winds? Its only source is the book of Jeremiah in chapter four but do you know whats happening? The INC used only 3 or 4 verses of of a total of total of 31 verses. Why? To read the whole chapter would expose the deception of the INC.
The INC censors or omit important verses to conceal its deception by concentrating on the "dry wind" which is not the same as four winds of Revelation. Below are the verses that will show the readers that the wind in Jeremiah could not have been War in Europe of 1914-1918.
Jeremiah, chapter 4, verses
23) I beheld the earth, and, lo, it was without form and void; and the heavens, and they had no light.
24) I beheld the mountains and lo, they trembled, and all the hills moved lightly.
25)I beheld, and lo, there was no man, and all the birds of heavens were fled.
Its obvious why the INC would not qoute the entire chapter; it would only select those verses it thinks would support its angel theory which is a junk anyway. Does the above verses refer to a World War in Europe? Absolutely not. An exhaustive postby Bro CraigI've been working this for a few weeks already. Here's what I have so far:Rev 7:1-3 After this I saw four angels standing at the four corners of the earth, holding back the four winds of the earth to prevent any wind from blowing on the land or on the sea or on any tree. Then I saw another angel coming up from the east, having the seal of the living God. He called out in a loud voice to the four angels who had been given power to harm the land and the sea: "Do not harm the land or the sea or the trees until we put a seal on the foreheads of the servants of our God." Historical facts:
The INC claims World War 1 is the fulfillment of the Revelations 6: 12-15. But the wind was “let go” on July 28, 1914 when Austria declared war on Serbia. A total of 36 declarations of war by a total of 23 nations were historically recorded during World War 1. Further, the “Big Four” could not be the four angels of Revelations 7:1-3 since:
If the wind is in reference to World War 2, not only does history not support this (in regards to the four angels) but the sealing was to be completed before the angels let go of the wind. If the INC maintains that the four angels are indeed Clemenceau, George, Orlando, and Wilson, then this also does not work. The below table plainly points this out:
Finally, the way the verse is written, the fifth angel speaks with the four angels holding back the wind. Is there any record that Felix Manalo contacted, wrote to, or spoke with either of these four men? The only record concerning Felix Manalo even merely leaving the Philippines from August 1919 to sometime in 1921 when he went to the United States and registered in the Pacific School of Religion.
Here is a list, in chronological order, of the declarations of war by each of the twenty-three (23) nations involved in World War 1: 1914 1917 The asterisks anotate the respective nations of each of the angels in Revelation 7:1-3 as determined and preached by the INC. Note also that these declarations of war do not match the date of the registration of the INC. |
