Why Felix Y. Manalo is the shepherd in Jonh 10:16 last of 3 parts

Now, it can be added to the Roll of Religious Leaders of Disrepute the name ERANO G. MANALO (EGM) of the Iglesia ni Cristo (Church of Christ) for dishonest use of Bible scholar Matthew Henry's commentary. The verses being studied are Isaiah 43:5-6. An honest teacher who would want to use the commentary of Matthew Henry must use his commentary pertaining to this Isaiah 43:5-6 verses, right? Guess what? Erano G. Manalo had used deceptively Matthew Henry's commentary of Job 28:24 misrepresenting it to be commentary for Isaiah 43:5-6.

The Iglesia ni Cristo worship service serves as the boiler room in the unholy practice of member machinations and other brainwashing techniques. The November 11, 2001 worship service lesson is proof of this fact. First EGM teaches that Jesus Christ is the shepherd of John 10:16, later in the series, the shepherd becomes Felix Y. Manalo. Using various bible translations and versions including stolen prophecies, EGM as his father, used an elaborate scheme to connect Felix Manalo as the shepherd. There is no way that a fake or impostor person can be legitimized even with use of many bible versions and many prophecies.

November 11, 2001
Iglesia ni Cristo (Church of Christ)
World Wide Worship Service Lesson
TOPIC: FELIX Y. MANALO IS THE SHEPHERD OF JOHN 10:16 (PART 3 OF 3 SERIES)

Q: How did the Other Sheep become one flock to allow reestblishment of the Church of Christ?

A: "I have other sheep, too. They are not in this flock here. I must lead them also. They will listen to my voice. In the future there will be one flock and one shepherd." (Acts 2:39 Easy-To-read New Testament Version)

EGM: Jesus Chrit mentioned about the future. In the future there will be one flock through the instrumentality of one shepherd.

(NOTE: FALLACY OF EGM: Why is there a need for using a second Bible version for Acts 2:39? First version used was the New King James. Not satisfied with the word "afar off" of NKJV, EGM searched for other versions and, lo and behold, he found the Easy-to-Read New Testament Version that has the word "future", grabbed it for member consumption. The word "afar off" or "future" does not unhook the Gentiles as the other sheep of Jesus Christ. The fact remains that the Gentiles were not yet called when Christ was still preaching with His Apostles. They were only called after His crucifixion. The Gentiles (Non Jews) are the second (also the last) group of people that has the promise of God. Let's read the fulfillment of the prophecy of the appointment of Apostle Paul to the Gentile world:

"For so the Lord has commanded us: "I have set you as a light to the Gentiles. That you should be for salvation to the ends of the earth." -Acts 13:47 NKJV

Based on this verse, the Lord Jesus Christ has appointed Apostles Paul and Barnabas to be the light to the Gentiles! Jesus Christ is the Chief Shepherd while Apostles Paul and Barnabas were appointed overseers to the Non Jews or Gentiles. Up to when? Up to the ends of the earth. There is no more room for Felix Manalo and his unauthorized third group).

Q: How did the Other Sheep become one flock and what is the meaning of flock?

A: "Take heed therefore to yourselves and to all the flock over which the Holy Spirit has appointed you overseers, to feed the church of Christ which he has purchased with his blood." (Acts 20:28 Lamsa Translation)

EGM: The sheep will have one shepherd and that's how it became a flock. The equivalent of the flock is the Church of Christ.

(NOTE: FALLACY OF EGM: Nowhere can we find the name "Church of Christ" in the Lamsa verse. What is written therein is "church of Christ" which is not a name of a particular church. The word "church" (not capitalized) refers to people believers because what Christ purchased or redeemed was not a corporate person. Let's read:

"And if you call on the Father, who without partiality judges according to each one's work, conduct yourselves throughout the time of your stay here in fear, knowing that you were not redeemed with corruptible things, like silver or gold, from your aimless conduct received by tradition from your fathers, but with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot." -1 Pet. 1:17-19 NKJV

Can an inanimate corporate person call on the Father? No! Therefore, those purchased or redeemed by the blood of Jesus Christ are natural persons or people who can call the Father. The Iglesia ni Cristo is a corporate artificial person created by Felix Manalo. Being an inanimate entity, it could not call the Father just like the graven images of wood created by people that could not glorify God. If images could not save people, so also, is the artificial person created by Manalo can never save people).

Q: In what period of time and from what place would those other sheep be called?

A: "to you and your children and to all those in distant time and places whom the Lord our God calls to Him." (Acts 2:39 Rhieu Translation)

EGM: The period of time is distant time while the place is distant place.

(NOTE: FALLACY OF EGM: Why does EGM have to use three versions of Acts 2:39? Last November 8 worship, the version used was New King James Version. Today, two versions (Easy-to-Read New Testament and Rhieu)are being used. A false church needs three versions in order to trick people. But a true church needs only one Bible version because it should be governed by only one spirit (Eph. 4:4). The use of many versions is trademark of a false church that is being governed by many conflicting spirits by authors of such versions. If their spirits are not in conflict, why do they have different interpretations and translations? Notwithstanding, the Rhieu version of distant time and places do not disqualify the Gentiles as the ones of the distant time (called only after crucifixion of Jesus Christ) and distant places (any place far from Jerusalem).

Q: Why was the shepherd sent?

A: "Return, faithless people," declares the Lord, "for I am your husband. I will choose you--one from a town and two from a clan--and bring you to Zion. Then I will give you shepherds after my own heart, who will lead you with knowledge and understanding." (Jer. 3:14-15 New International Version)

EGM: The shepherd was sent in order to lead people of God with knowledge and understanding.

(NOTE: FALLACY OF EGM: These verses pertain to the Israelites.)

Q: What is the knowledge and understanding to be used by the shepherd?

A: "Counsel is mine, and sound wisdom,

I am understanding, I have strength." (Prov. 8:14 NKJV)

EGM: The knowledge and undertanding are counsel and sound wisdom.

(NOTE: FALLACY OF EGM: If Felix Manalo was given knowledge and undertanding, why would he teach that a man's created artificial person or entity will save people?)

Q: What is the equivalent of knowledge and understanding that will be used by the shepherd of God?

A: "All the words of my mouth are with righteousness; Nothing crooked or perverse is in them." (Prov. 8:8 NKJV)

EGM: The shepherd has understanding and knowledge because he teaches the words of God. He does not teach crooked or perverse things.

(NOTE: FALLACY OF EGM: If Felix Manalo teaches the words of God, why is he teaching differently? According to God, the name given to all men wherein we must be saved is Jesus Christ of Nazareth (Acts 4:10-12), but Manalo teaches it is the name Church of Christ wherein we must be saved. Therefore, Manalo is not teaching the words of God. On crooked teachings, why does Felix Manalo teaches all body parts have one function (i.e. all members obligated to invite people to the Bible exposition)? It is a crooked teaching! The straight teaching is that the many parts of the body have their own respective functions. Apostle Paul asked: "Are all apostles? Are all prophets? Are all teachers? Are all workers of miracles?" -1 Cor. 12:29 NKJV. Therefore, not all have the same functions).

Q: Who is this true shepherd that has the counsel of God who will be used in the reestablishment of the Church of Christ?

A: "Calling a bird of prey title is owned by King Cyrus of Persia. Taking something that is owned by somebody is called "stealing". The location from where this man will come from is the local "far east". The location "far east" (not capitalized) is only local far east. The local "far east" of Palestine is no other than Persia. It is King Cyrus of Persia who came from the local far east (Isa. 41:2, 45:1).

Q: Why are we sure that Bro. Felix Y. Manalo is the shepherd?

A: "Listen to Me, you stubborn-hearted,

Who are far from righteousness; I bring My righteousness near, it shall not be far off; My salvation shall not linger. And I will place salvation in Zion, For Israel My glory." (Isa. 46:12-13 NKJV)

EGM: Brother Felix Y. Manalo is the shepherd because he brought righteousness to the people.

(NOTE: FALLACY OF EGM: It is God who is speaking, therefore, it is God who brings righteousness. This Manalo is exalting himself and taking the position of God).

Q: Which is the righteousness to be brought by Bro. Felix Y. Manalo?

A: "For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first and also for the Greek. for in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith; as it is written, "The just shall live by faith." (Rom. 1:16-17 NKJV)

EGM: The righteousness brought by Bro. Felix Y. Manalo is the gospel. He preached the true gospel to the people.

(NOTE: FALLACY OF EGM: What Felix Manalo brought was not the true gospel but another gospel. Why? Romans 1:16-17 says the gospel to be preached is the gospel of Christ. What Felix Manalo preached is the gospel of Manalo. The differences between the gospel of Christ and the gospel of Manalo according to the verses are:

  1. 1. The gospel of Christ teaches there are only two groups, namely, the Jews and the Gentiles (also called Greek), whereas, the gospel of Manalo teaches there are three groups, namely, the Jews, the Gentiles, and the Church of Christ or Iglesia ni Cristo.

  2. 2. The gospel of Christ teaches that salvation can be had by believing Jesus Christ, whereas, the gospel of Manalo teaches salvation can be had by believing Felix Y. Manalo as the last days messenger of God).

Q: Why is the shepherd from the Far East likened to bird of prey?

A: "Fear not, for I am with you; I will bring your descendants from the east, And gather you from the west, I will say to the north, 'Give them up!' And to the south, 'Do not keep them back!" Bring My sons from afar, And My daughters from the ends of the earth--" (Isa. 43:5-6 NKJV)

EGM: The shepherd from the Far East is likened to a bird of prey because he will rescue people captured by false churches biblically called north and south.

(NOTE: FALLACY OF EGM: What is written in Isaiah 43:5-6 as the places from which the children of God will come from are only local east, local west, local north, and local south. These are all places where the Israelites and Judeans were deported and exiled to by their conquerors Assyrians and Babylonians. When King Cyrus of Persia ascended to power, he was used by God to set free the Israelites and Judeans. It should be noted that the Israelites divided into two kingdoms, the Kingdom of Israel and the Kingdom of Judah. Both kingdoms fell to the Assyrian and Babylonian conquerors as punishment by God for their idolatries. Therefore, the Isaiah verses apply to the Israelites. Felix Y. Manalo had stolen this prophecy from Israel).

Q: Wht would the shepherd do to the people being captive by the north and the south false churches?

A: "Bring out the blind people who have eyes,

And the deaf who have ears." (Isa. 43:8 NKJV)

EGM: The shepherd will bring out the blind and the deaf. These are people blinded by false teachings.

(NOTE: FALLACY OF EGM: The true shepherd will bring out the blind and the deaf. What do you think will a fake, or an impostor, or an unhired shepherd will do to the sheep? Naturally, it is not for the good of the sheep but for profit for himself. Why do you think Manalo requires all Iglesia members to give thanksgiving monies as long as they live? The answer is profits for the impostor shepherd).

Q: Which false church is referred by the Bible as the north and which false church is referred as the south?

A: "...In the north the Protestants are in control--Lutheran churches in Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Iceland, the northern and central states of Germany; Calvinist or Reformed churches in Scotland, the Netherlands, Hesse, the Palatinate, and a few of the western German states. In the south the Catholics are in control--Spain, Italy, Austria, Bavaria, and elsewhere in southern Germany." (The Reformation, Owen, Chdwick, p. 366).

EGM: Therefore, the false churches referred by the Bible as north and south are the Protestants and Catholics.

(NOTE: FALLACY OF EGM: Isaiah 43:4-6 is about the return of the Israelites to Jerusalem from their places of exiles or deportations (north, south, east, and west)(Jer. 29:10-14). To use the Isaiah citation as the Iglesia ni Cristo support for the rising of the Iglesia ni Cristo in the Philippines is a distortion of the Bible and the Israelites' history. EGM can not change what is written therein. Firstly, the people are to be gathered from four corners not only two corners. Secondly, the pronoun "you" refers to Israel (43:1). Thirdly, the "ends of the earth" phrase is preceded by "FROM" not "TO" indicating place not time. If we are to use "from" as time, it will result in a ridiculous situation that people have come from a prior ages just like the scifi movie thriller, "Back to the Future". If the Iglesia insists the term "from the ends of the earth" is time, then they are the remnants of the Pharisees of Jesus Christ's time).

Q: What is the proof that the fulfillment of the place and time where the shepherd will be called is in the Far East?

A: "From the far east will I bring your offspring, and from the far west I will gather you." (Isa. 43:5 Moffatt Translation)

EGM: The Bible says it is the Far East where God's offspring will come from.

(NOTE: FALLACY OF EGM: In above Isaiah 43:5-6 of New King James, EGM says sons and daughters will come from the north and south. Now, using Moffatt, he says, sons and daughters will come from far east and far west. Which is the true Iglesia teaching? EGM's trick is discovered. Discovered because of his own doing--using two incompatible Bible versions of Isa 43:5-6. What a shame!).

Q: What else is proof that east in Isa. 43:5-6 is Far East?

A: "The Hebrew term kedem properly means that which is before or in front of a person, and was applied to the east from the custom of turning in that direction when describing the points of a compass, before, behind, the right and the left representing respectively east, west, south, and north. Job. 23:8,9. The term as generally used refers to the lands lying immediately eastward of Palestine, viz, Arabia, Mesopotamia, and Babylonia; on the other hand mizrach is used of the far east with less definite significatin. Isa. 41:2,25; 43:5; 46:11." (Smith's Bible Dictionary, p. 154).

EGM: The Smith's Bible Dictionary is the proof that it is Far East where his sons and daughters will arise.

(NOTE: FALLACY OF EGM: For goodness sake, please don't change what is written in the Smith's Bible Dictionary! What is written is "far east" NOT "Far East". There is only one Far East part of the globe, but, there are many local far east places. What Isaiah 43:5-6 refer to is local far east of Jerusalem. The locale far east of Jerusalem is no other than Persia because it is farther than the local kedem (east) which are identified by the Smith's Dictionary as Arabia, Mesopotamia, and Babylonia).

Q: Can the term "ends of the earth" of Isa. 43:6 applies also to distant time & distant place?

A: "For he looks to the ends of the earth, both in place and time; distant ages, distant regions are under this view." (Matthew Henry's Commentary, p. 154)

EGM: According to Matthew Henry, a Bible scholar, "ends of the earth" applies both to time and place. It can apply to distant ages and distant regions.

(NOTE: FALLACY OF EGM: Hey Devil! Don't misuse Matthew Henry's commentary of Job 28:24 for Isaiah 43:6. This is deception in the highest order. Misusing somebody's work for something it was not intended by the author is a fraud. There is a difference between the "ends of the earth of Job 28:24 and the "ends of the earth" of Isaiah 43:6. Job 28:24's "ends of the earth" is preceded by "to" whereas in Isaiah 43:6, it is preceded by "from").

Q: What is the unique characteristic of the sons and daughters mentioned in Isaiah 43:5-6?

A: "Everyone who is called by My name, Whom I have created for My glory; I have formed him, yes, I have made him." (Isa. 43:7 NKJV)

EGM: The unique characteritic of these sons and daughters is that they are called by the name created by God for His glory.

(NOTE: Name is Jesus Christ).

Q: What is the name which God's sons and daughters are called?

A: "I pray for them. I do not pray for the world but for those you gave me, for they belong to you. All I have is yours, and all you have is mine; and my glory is shown through them. And now I am coming to you; I am no longer in the world, but they are in the world. Holy father! Keep them safe by the power of your name, the name you gave me, so that they may be one just as you and I are one." (John 17:9-11 TEV)

EGM: The name is Jesus Christ.

(NOTE: GOTCHA! The name is Jesus Christ NOT Church of Christ!)

Q: Where are those given to Christ brought?

A: "Greet one another with a holy kiss. The churches of Christ greet you." (Rom. 16:16 NKJV)

EGM: Those given to Christ are brought inside the Church of Christ.

(NOTE: FALLACY OF EGM: Hey devil, don't change what is written! What is written is "churches of Christ" NOT "Church of Christ". The word "churches" refer to people believers because they are the building and temples of God (1 Cor. 3:9, 16-17 NKJV). If every believer is a church, naturally, many believers are called churches. And these believers or churches are owned by Jesus Christ, naturally, they called "churches of Christ". The name "churches of Christ" indicates only ownership. It is not a name of a particular church. Changing "churches" into "Church" is rendering violence to the Scriptures)

Q: What is God's promise to His people in the last days?

A: "I will bring the one-third through the fire, Will refine them as silver is refined, And test them as gold is tested. They will call on My name, And I will answer them. I will say, 'This is My people', And each one will say, 'The Lord is my God." (Zech. 13:9 NKJV)

EGM: God promised to us members of the Church of Christ that whenever we call God, He will answer us.

(NOTE: FALLACY OF EGM: The one-third referred to by Prophet Zechariah is no other than Jerusalem. According to Prophet Zechariah the four horns (Assyria, Babylonia, Greece, and Rome)will scatter the three (Israel, Judah, & Jerusalem). Israel and Judah were cut off and had died upon their fall at the hands of Assyria and Babylonia. Jerusalem, the one-third, was left in and was tested by fire and refined as silver when it endured sieges and captures by Alexander the great and by the Romans. To date, Jerusalem is still being tested through the unending unrest in the region.
